What is Bushler's motive for nuking Iran?
Is it for oil? Doubt it, because nukes would contaminate it. I can only conclude he either wants to intimidate and conquer or completely annihilate the planet. What do you think?

They came up with the plans in the 90s (at the latest), but their motives may be changing -- or perhaps accumulating.

7. Because it will show the world how 'tough' he is.
Because he pushed a button.

Reminds me of Terry Gilliam's Maron Munchausen and a line the god Vulcan gave about the new product line of weapons he was developing:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Baron Munchausen: What's this?
Vulcan: Oh, this is our prototype. RX Intercontinental, radar-seeking, multi-warheaded nuclear missile.
Baron Munchausen: What does it do?
Vulcan: Do? Kills the enemy.
Baron Munchausen: All the enemy?
Vulcan: Aye, all the enemy. All their wives, and all their children, and all their sheep, and all their cattle, and all their cats and dogs. All of them: all of them gone for good.
Sally: That's horrible.
Vulcan: Ahh. Well, you see, the advantage is you don't have to see one single one of them die. You just sit comfortably thousands of miles away from the battlefield and simply press the button.
Berthold: Well, where's the fun in that?
Vulcan: Oh we cater to all types here...

22. And, lets not forget that Hersh was reporting on similar info
back in January of 2005

http://www.newyorker.com/fact/content/?050124fa_fact

~snip~

According to a former high-level intelligence official, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld met with the Joint Chiefs of Staff shortly after the election and told them, in essence, that the naysayers had been heard and the American people did not accept their message. Rumsfeld added that America was committed to staying in Iraq and that there would be no second-guessing.

“This is a war against terrorism, and Iraq is just one campaign. The Bush Administration is looking at this as a huge war zone,” the former high-level intelligence official told me. “Next, we’re going to have the Iranian campaign. We’ve declared war and the bad guys, wherever they are, are the enemy. This is the last hurrah—we’ve got four years, and want to come out of this saying we won the war on terrorism.”

~snip~

stories could hold some truth. They may actually talked about using nukes. It fits *ss but the timing of the release is sooooooooo convenient. Remember poppy even had a little war to cover up son Neil's S&L scandal.

This story was reconstituted at a very convenient time for Shrub. All Sy has done is report it. That doesn't make him anything but a reporter. In fact he is one of the few we can trust. That still doesn't mean they aren't trying to misdirect Sy.

42. immigration
No, I think the recent debate over immigration reform is the real diversion. The republican congress came up with an unwielding and clumsy bill that could never be implemented, and would allow no discussion or debate. Clearly, they just wanted to divert public attention, and I think from Iran. Massive demonstrations coast to coast will absorb a lot of air time.

I don't know much about such things, does any of the following make any sense to you?

Doesn't the entire industry tend to make more money when there is limited oil on the market? Or at least, hasn't that been the result of the adventure in Iraq?

And hasn't bushco been trying to get their hands down the panties of Pemex for quite some time? Wouldn't a sudden reduction in the supply of mideast oil make this substantially more likely and substantially more profitable for them?

will of any potential opponent of the neocon global elite takeover. This isn't about saving "america". "america" is in the process of being destroyed too. We will be so far in debt after the "wars on terrorism" that our decendents will be paying in perpetuity. All of the interest will of course be paid to the mega rich. It all makes perfect sence.

One of the first and most definitive signs of being a blossoming serial killer is the torture of helpless creatures as a child. Looks like ol' *bush fulfilled his profile very well. The only thing that's changed is the size of the firecracker, and the damage done with it.

Just think of the profits the military corporations could rake in.

They have a nice stockpile of those million dollar smart bombs just itching to be used and then replenished. IMO the military industrial complex is the real reason for these bogus wars. They make billions and nobody questions them . Nobody questions Congress. Nobody questions the billions going out . They have free reign. If anyone dare question, they get ruined as unamerican.

Its a perfect racket. The Mafia would have loved to have a swet deal like this. Its out in the open, no muss , no fuss, easy money.

I've never bought the "Bush wants to bring on the Rapture" line. Religion for that asshole is a set of handy codewords that, when uttered, cause the REAL religious nuts around the country to send him lots and lots of money...and THAT's what motivates Bush.

Rapture, shmapture. It's GREED. I'm sure wartime profits have everything to do with an attack on Iran, or even just a threatened attack.

to try to apply motives to a lunatic. He's insane, and other than having his way because he's always been able to have it before, is just part of his sociopathic personality. He doesn't care how many lives are destroyed, how many widows and orphans he makes, or how much misery he brings. He knows that he wants to be a "War President" and since Iraq is such a mess, he figures that he'll make up for that by a successful war with Iran. He's crazy.

He may or may not be an end of timer -- and if he is an end of timer -- he believes he must bring on the Armageddon. He may or may not really believe that god speaks to him -- if he is hearing voices he is bat shit crazy.

Of course nukes would contaminate the whole area -- and probably US troops -- but he has no concept of the topography or geography of the area.

It establishes a contemporary benchmark for the use of 'nukular' weapons, i.e. "We don't like you."

It continues the Neocon destabilization of "Islamic" republics.

It "wags the dog" away from Libbygate, Abramhoffgate, and the slowly percolating 911gate.

It could really kickstart a decent war, and Bushco sho' nuff like de war! Bushco's been war profiteering since WWI (Walkers first, Bushes second).
