1. It is 34 degrees in SE Michigan.
We have absolutely no snow though and for that I am immensely grateful. Let's hear it for global warming, I guess.

Global warming doesn't exist. Pay NO attention to the temperature. ALL thermometers are wrong!:eyes:

12. January thaw
Happened every year I can remember (grew up in Conn.)

Not to worry. You'll be freezing your bippees off again within the week. Besides, Our Great President Bush says global warming is a myth, and that's final! :sarcasm:

15. 70F here in Atlanta...
about 25 degrees higher than normal for this time of year. And we had a few days of mid-60's-low 70's last week, along with thunderstorms and tornadoes (which are NOT normal winter weather phenomena at all).

23. It was in the 70's over the weekend in Denver
and we've had about 4 inches of snow in total this season. I can't find a historical temp graph, but it seems to me that it's been about 30 degrees warmer on average the entire winter.

I am enjoying the mild winter and the ability to stick it to the criminal natural gas companies, but it's still scary in the grand scheme.

26. 28 here in Rochester NH....
...40-50 miles from Boston...a touch of snow this morning...predicted high this week low 40's and predicted lows in the low 20's...warmer than usual but not the thaw because we haven't had the hard freeze yet...about every winter I expect at least one cold hard freeze...lasts about two weeks with a canadian high and winds from the north...two years ago that bastard reached 19 below and never reached zero for 10 days...I know we worry about global warming, but this year of years, I would settle for a mild winter...
