Why is it a given that Hillary is our next "Great White Hope"??
it's as though the republicans started this many months back and this is simply the way of the future??

I appreciate all responses on this one? -- is it because she has already raised 100 million in fianial backing?

Hillary to me chose to remain silent on too many pasr serious issues...!

1. I like her but she will lose
That is the only reason I oppose her.

5. I agree--I don't want her either; only because she will lose.

There are too many out there, rightly or wrongly (definitely WRONG imho), that still hate the Clintons way too much. She'd never make it.

Peace.

7. Because the Republicans and the DLC like her. I do not support any
RepubLITE candidates. I want a REAL PROGRESSIVE FOR PRESIDENT. But first lets get the corporate pigs out of office now.

10. I hope we have a more sensible alternative choice!
Bill is caring on like it's in the bag as he pals around with Bush 41 -- but they do have in common they both had extrmarital affairs while being president - birds of a feather -- at least they're choices were female?

11. Her "failed insurgency" statement will lead to her failed candidacy.
If the Dems are dumb enough to nominate another pro-war, DLC, moderate Republican with a (D) after her name, they aren't paying attention to the mood of the country. Oh, wait..politicians seldom pay attention to anything other than the fatcats who give them money.

12. She's not; there's lots of time for others to appear.
Remember how Kerry popped out of nowhere? Well, not a good example, but...

Relax! Time will tell...

13. Would they have the Balls to slip jeb Bush into this?
and with the Diebold crew still in tact? -- why wouldn't Jeb win -- they already did it twice...what would you do? -- what the heck could you do?

Can't you just see the exit polls be so radically wrong ---again!!!

do a cheney and nominate himself.

15. She'll be the front runner for the next year and a half
Why? Name recognition. Lieberman was a strong contender in early 2003, even the front runner in some polls, because he had the name recognition. He didn't win a single primary. Hillary can live off of name recognition for the next year and a half, but if she thinks that will carry her to the nomination, she is mistaken.

More of the Same Conventional Wisdom types who wish to bare their necks (and other sensitive body parts) to the Republicans repeatedly in a sickening display of "battered spouse" syndrome...

Just my humble opinion ;)

Just our great hope.

GO HILLARY!!!

What I find hysterically funny is all the people talking about her running except her. Makes you think don't it.

21. I will do anything in my power to destroy her chances at nomination.
She is not a candidate I could ever feel represented me, and I will go to war to keep her off the ballot for President.

However, I support her remaining in the Senate as long as the voters of her state feel is appropriate.

you're willing to keep avoiding to stay elected.

So no. We need a leader, not another politician indistinguishable from the status quo.
