What are some rebuttals to the Republican broken record about Ruth Ginsberg.

They are making this claim repeatedly.

1. Ruth Bader Ginsberg's nomination was suggested by Orrin Hatch
You need to hammer that home to people. Clinton had suggested somebody else, and Orrin Hatch said no, and put out Ginsber's name. Why would the Republicans fight against someone they themselves had suggested?

2. Clinton wanted Babbitt, but Hatch countered with Ginsburg.

5. Also, take a look at this:

Ginsberg was honest about her affiliations - Alito is not. Deception is not a prized qualification for judicial service.

7. they didn't let most of Clinton's picks out of committee at all-

Dozens of District Court nominees from 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000 with unanimous "well-qualified" or "qualified" ratings also were blocked by Republican refusal to give them hearings or votes. In all, nearly 60 of President Clinton's judicial nominees were defeated through Republican blocking of hearings and votes, despite their ABA ratings. ... While only two of President Bush's judicial nominees have been defeated in open votes, nearly 60 of President Clinton's judicial nominees were defeated through secret, anonymous holds and other secretive, non-transparent Republican tactics.
