5. Not watching now, but been keeping up on the issue
Have decided Halliburton, KBR must not have any contracts with the VA. So they plan on making sure there are no veterans left alive for some other corporation to profit from taking care of.

Been screaming since before the invasion that the whole thing is just a plan to hold our military personnel over there for monthly ransom payments to the corporations. Used to be, the military took care of most of their own logistic needs like food, water, housing. Privatizing seems to work, for the private corporations, but sure as hell isn't good for the privates in the military!

6. If I were a mom of someone over there, I would be
furious! Hell, I'm furious anyway! My DH retired from the military, and this is not how you treat these people! And nothing but silence from this admin.:grr::grr:

7. A mom up the street has a very sad anniversary coming up next month
I never know what to say, except to tell her I remember and miss him too. If they try to draft my daughter (in her 30s) they will take her over my dead body.
