I just can't handle Bush STARTING ANOTHER WAR!
This is not going to make us safer, it's going to send a clear message to our enemies that they either attack us when they can or be destroyed by a pre-emptive (nuclear) strike.

This is going to trigger terrorist attacks and potentially trigger aggressions by enemy states (North Korea).

If anything was learned about the Bush Administration last year, it's that they can't and don't know how to protect the citizens against a terrorist attack. Katrina and the Dubai Ports deal are clear indicators they have no clue what the words "Homeland Security" mean.

America is absolutely screwed with Bush the Maniac in control

1. I agree!
And I feel so helpless because we're watching it happen and yet, what can we do? They do not listen to us. They don't even listen to reason. They just don't care or are so wrapped up in some end of the world scenario that they can't think straight.

12. Here's something you can do!
From an earlier post here on DU!!

I can't fucking believe I'm signing a petition to explain to Congress that it's a bad idea to engage in nuclear first-strikes. But apparently these are the times I was fated to live in.

2. yes, it is
bothering the heck out of me too, this affects the whole world. we have come to a very dark place, and we are the only ones to do something about this. The media does not give a shit about this, they again will be the bush's war whores on this. Does this regime think we will buy this shit, surgical nuclear attack, a nuclear attack is a deadly consequence. We have to all unite.

9. Do you have any links?
My son is gonna be 9 in the fall... And I've been thinking that we should do this too.

I never thought we'd be in this situation. It's like in a weekend the * has catapulted our nation back to the 1950's... :scared:

6. I am actually afraid of another country attacking us pre-emptively to
stop our country from creating more chaos in the world.

10. I don't even think they have any livestock there. I know there aren't
any horses. Once, when Vincenti Fox visited the "ranch", he expected to go horseback riding and found out no horses in sight! Lots of brush though.... lol!

8. Do you ever wonder about how the seemingly sane Bush** voters will
react to this if/when it happens? During the past few months I have frequently caught myself pondering this. I tried to warn a few that if he was put back into office that we'd have more wars, and that was always met with disbelief. Will the ones who are apparently having buyer's remorse now, as indicated by his poll numbers, join us in mass protest?

Will it further divide the country?

11. When it happens, I'll prolly spend a couple days under the covers.
Take a couple of mental health days of work. Then, I'll be able to create plans about how to deal with it.
