A group of University of California students say they won't wear university logo apparel made in overseas sweatshops - and Tuesday they proved it.

A handful of students stripped for a protest and rally at UC Berkeley to call on UC administrators to adopt a policy that would ensure that logo apparel is produced in factories that respect workers' rights.

``The naked truth is that our Cal apparel is still made in sweatshops, but we have the power to create an alternative model for the global garment industry that rewards rather than punishes good factories,'' UC Berkeley senior Nina Rizzo said in a statement.

Most of the people who do nude protests aren't exactly the most "attractive" of the bunch. No offense though, as I agree with their message.

Kinda nice to know other people have real bodies, too -- what is seen in mags and on TV is just bizarre in its sameness and 'perfection'.

I'd at least wait until one of those hot and humid days before I displayed my "Package" in public.

Maybe even give myself a little trim the day before.

Around here we're under the impression that all of California is one big sunny beach, year round, except for the parts where you go skiing. :)

I love how they always come out to protest and speak out, but a lot of the time they're doing these things against -- other people who agree with them? They need to do these actions in places where people believe these injustices are just.

Personally, I'm not keen on people who only go halfway. Either get dressed or get naked, one or t'other
