Funny how Alito is lauded for having the HIGHEST ABA rating!
The ABA has 3 possibloe ratings. WQ = Well Qualified; Q = Qualified; NQ = Not Qualified.

Every Pub I hear says "WOW, Alito has the HIGHEST ABA rating, so why are Dems not satisfied?"

I also remember, when it was a Clinton appointee, the ABA rating meant NOTHING! Then it was "Gee, there's only 3 ratings, and we agree XXXX isn't unqualified as an attorney. It's their values that are the problem!"

Sure is amazing how all this changes when the shoe changes feet, huh?

2. The Number Of Examples
of GOP hypocrisy is truly staggering. They better hope they get their way with Alito, because time is running out. And all the shit they have pulled is coming back at them ten-fold. Pay back time!

4. I agree, but I want to know WHY no Dem is callilng them on it NOW?
I'd LOVE to hear some Dems ask "With all the Dem judicial nominees, you said the ABA rating didn't matter because the ABA always supports Dems. Why are you touting it now???"

What are they not saying it?

3. ABA against constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage

Does that mean Alito will be for Gay Marriage?

7. I'm getting sick of hearing the crap with the ABA rating...
who cares if Alito is considered to be a "Well Qualified", all it really says is that person actually does their job well in a scholarly manner or whatever. For example, the person in question could be completely crazy in a sense and still have the rating of well qualified, but that doesn't mean they should be on the highest court in America. So in conclusion, values is more important than the rating, and if there is a problem with the person's values, they shouldn't be on the court. Because Alito's record does have some not so great things in it, these things need to be looked at, and he should be judged accordingly.
