Remember after the rolling blackouts on the East Coast and Congress reported

Structurally deficient bridges, unsafe dams and overcrowded and outdated school buildings are some of the problems cited in a report from an engineering group on the infrastructure of the United States, and it says it will cost $1.3 trillion to fix them.

The review, released Thursday by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), says the money is needed over the next five years to shore up the nation's crumbling infrastructure, which it graded as a D+ overall.

If they're going to rebuild the infrastructure, electric lines should be underground. Having them above ground wastes an enormous amount.

...IS elected President, or until the Democrats DO control the Congress again, then when they DO have to tell the American people the truth, that Taxes MUST be raised to pay for all this and the massive Debt that George and his Cabal have run up, the ReThugs will start with the "See, we told you the Democrats would raise your taxes!"

6. the road to our house is completely

crumbling. There is now a 4 foot drop that started as a crack. There is a new semi circle crack appearing at the outside lane of the road and I have a feeling that the whole lane will drop away. Further up the mountain, hiway 101 is doing the same thing, only that is a main artery to the north and involves 4 lanes of traffic. This has been a brutal winter and I agree that our infrastructure needs help now. Thanks George Bush and you greedy pigs.
