1. Beautiful!
I hear the sounds of awakening! Yay!

Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial.
86%

No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors."
4.4%

No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching.

17. I thought that too
I've been fairly disgusted of late with regard to the wording on some polls. I thought this one looked wordy at first glance, but it hit the spot for me!

8. It didn't need DU's help
and I'm sure network pollsters take listing at either this website or the online right wing insane asylum into account when they tot up the results.

I do enjoy seeing numbers like these, though, especially when they reflect a real sampling of visitors to a news website and not a campaign by any "side."

26. Here's a copy of a couple that Democrats.com has
on their site:

ABC News Poll. Latest: Conducted Monday night, August 17, 1998.

"If he does not resign, do you think Congress should or should not impeach Clinton and remove him from office?"
Should impeach 25
Should not 69
No opinion 6

Pew Research Center Poll conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates. August 21-24, 1998. N=1,001 adults nationwide.

"Bill Clinton has told the American people that he had an inappropriate relationship with Monica Lewinsky but misled the public earlier to protect his family. In your opinion, should Clinton's statement be enough to end the matter OR do you think Congress should still consider impeachment hearings?"

Enough to end matter 61
Still consider impeachment hearings 32
Don't know 7

43. Done @ 9:07 a.m.
Eighty-six percent of 255,61 responses said yes. Even with two possible 'no' answers, 86% said yes. There needed to be a check box detailing how far down the line of succession the cashiering needs to go:

* The Vice President Richard Cheney
* Speaker of the House John Dennis Hastert
* President pro tempore of the Senate Ted Stevens
* Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
* Secretary of the Treasury John Snow
* Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld
* Attorney General Alberto Gonzales
* Secretary of the Interior (Vacant)
* Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns
* Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez
* Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao
* Secretary of Health and Human Services Mike Leavitt
* Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Alphonso Jackson
* Secretary of Transportation Norman Yoshio Mineta
* Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman
* Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings
* Secretary of Veterans Affairs Jim Nicholson
* Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff

Possibly as far down as labor?
