6. I think that is Bush stragegy--if people do not have a sence of sacrifice-
they do not think of the war (even though it is hitting their pocket books and social programs).

Yes, I said it. Because I also believe that until the Iraq war presents the very real possibility of "shared sacrifice" of Americans across the board -- not just the poor and minority communities -- this war and the ones which may follow it will never end.

9. and the ones who go the deferment route will have to carry
the stigma with them the rest of their lives. I have friends and acquaintances, hell even family who I never let forget. And all it takes is the right word at the right moment. So yes we need shared sacrifices

He said they are the ones who profited most from the war. This was just before Gregory came on.
