I got three copies of Riverbend's "Baghdad Burning" in the mail today

In case you didn't know, River's blog from Iraq, Baghdad Burning, has been turned into a book and is for sale at the Feminist Press. It covers from just before the invasion to 2004. If you haven't read or kept up with her blog, and don't have the time to go through the archives at the site, I highly recommend the book. Either way you choose to read it I can guarantee you'll gain insight into what Bush** has really done for Iraq. "Baghdad Burning II" looks like it will be released soon too.

I got three copies -- one for me, one for a friend, and one for a gentleman I know in the UK who likes turning books into films. :)

Worthy cause all around. And worth far more than the $11.96 FP sell it for...River's perspective is invaluable, I'd say. I really worry for her safety.
