Here is what Learned Hand wrote about her last night in the post about The Colbert Report

She's for real, but she's not a fundy right-winger. She writes for the New Yorker and I think is a correspondent for The Atlantic. You can find some of her essays online. She's a TOTAL kook, the apotheosis of the child-worshipping parent cult. Sometimes her essays are thought-provoking, but mostly she reminds me of that woman in the 70s who wrote that women should greet their husbands at the door wearing nothing but Saran Wrap.

publicity it will get her, and then whines and moans over the criticism it gets her. TOOL is the perfect word for her.

She was a High School English Teacher, a job which she had already quit before she gave up her "great career" to be a stay-at-home Mom? What a hypocrite.

If she had not taken up this "against the stream" position no one would have ever heard her name.
