Question on the Duke alleged rape case:
The timeline being talked about by the defense is based on a neighbors recolletion of the time the neighbor allegedly saw the dancer going back into the house, or trying to go back into the house. My question is, is the neighbor's recollection of the time accurate. Did the neighbor set household clocks to DST? Wasn't incident around the time of changing the clocks? Just curious.

4. No, the incident was not the weekend of the time change.
Edited on Thu Apr-20-06 02:20 PM by Neil Lisst
It was a week or two before the time change, and the primary verification of the time stamps on photos is the presence in some photos of a watch, which watch shows the same time as the time on the photos.

Other parts of the timeline are provided by cell phone records, cab records, and dorm records.

5. It could be a factor
but I'm sure the police ascertained that the clocks were accurate.

6. We don't know.
No one here has all the evidence, though many people have already passed judgement without it.

8. We do know that it wasn't the weekend of the time change. And,
we know when the cab driver arrived to pick up one of the accused men.
