Who the hell was killed as a result of Whitewater? How many billions did Whitewater cost the Americans? WTF is this guy talking about.

4. Tweety even slapped Smerconish down for laughing about the issue

"These are damned serious issues and you shouldn't be laughing about them" (or something to that effect). Smerconish was saying that the Plame case was a "Beltway story" and Tweety refuted that (said this has to do with why we went to war).

Trying to minimize the seriousness of the Plame leak investigation is all the Repubs have left after the total failure of their desperate attempts to discredit Joe Wilson and defend the honesty and integrity of the WH.

Plame leak is much easier for public to understand than Whitewater and that is a big part of why Bush's ratings have plummeted. Average people who only casually watch evening news now understand that Bush and Cheney lied/misled us about both WMD's and the leaks and have covered up their complicity and lies.
