(CBS 5/AP) STANFORD, Calif. Plans by President Bush to attend a private meeting at Stanford University's conservative Hoover Institution were canceled Friday evening when protesters blocked his motorcade from going through the only entrance.

Instead, the session was moved to the Palo Alto home of former Secretary of State George Shultz.

Shultz was already scheduled to host a private gathering Friday night for the president.

Organizers of the demonstration outside the institution say at least three people were arrested for sitting in an intersection.

3. Don't get me wrong...I'm thrilled the protesters blocked the motorcade.
That hasn't happened since * was appointed. The secret service has always cleared a path for him. What was different today?
