There are plenty of good people in the military and the bureaucracy that are just as terrified (probably more so, since they know more) of the lunatics as we are. The generals speaking out, and the CIA lady that was fired are a couple of examples. The white hats and the black hats are shooting it out.

I have always felt that there are one hell of a lot of good, hard working Americans in the government (some in the Senior Executive Service, and Flag and General Officer levels) - who are just honest, bright, dedicated, loyal Americans -- who do not like what Bush et al. are doing.
