* is coming to visit tomorrow morning

I live about 10 miles from Twenty-Nine Palms Marine Corps Center. Palm Desert, a Repug cash cow, is about 25 miles south of here, and you can almost hear the sucking sound as * gets all the money he can before he leaves our state.

*'s schedule in California has been made up nearly exclusively of fund raisers, so I guess they thought he needed a photo-op in front of the troops to show he's in charge. Tomorrow morning he'll drop in to the base to attend chapel (insert your own comment about his hypocrisy here) and then appear in front of the marines. They've been flying helicopters back and forth over my house all day in preparation for the big event.

An interesting note: the local media is prohibited from attending *'s visit. I guess what happened with Hu has the WH gun shy about letting unknowns within shouting distance of the Great Decider.

Since he's flying in it will be impossible to do the standard sign-along-the-route protest. I wonder how much paint it would take to write "WORST PRESIDENT EVER" on my roof?
