Labor joke for the week: Holy Work

Holy Work

A carpenter went to confession.

“Father,” she said, “I’ve been working for a contractor for 10 years. Every day I’m tempted to take something home from the job. What can I do to overcome this?”

“My daughter,” said the priest, “do you think you could make a penitence?”

“Just give me the plans, father,” the carpenter replied. “I’ve got a garage full of materials to work with.”

1. I know for a fact there is faith based carpentry...
whoever repaired previous hurricane damage on our house used it a lot.
