Could it be an attempt to offset the cost of a corporate jet for its CEO? Starbucks is laying off 1,000 employees according to a report in The Seattle Times. The company which has slid from 7th to 24th place on Fortune magazine�s 100 best places to work list, was recently found guilty of violating federal labor laws and has actively sought to punish union supporters. Fortunately for consumers who value human rights a coffee made by union workers is available.

they give their customer a shitty cup of coffee and their employees the shaft in the form of a pink slip. Everyone is sacrificed so the CEOs and executive management can fly around like a bunch of arrogant greedmongering A-holes. Pike's Place tastes like diluted Maxwell House.
