Dammnit, the darn caps look like shit, lol
I finally figured out how to get the DU labor section headlines to display on my site,
http://www.anti-union.blogspot.com/">Joe's Union Review. It took a lot of hard work, but I finally got it into a RSS.
Using a tool HTML2RSS from
http://www.balluche.fr/html2rss.phpI was able to generate a RSS from the site, the link is here
http://www.balluche.fr/html2rss.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.democraticunderground.com%2Fdiscuss%2Fduboard.php%3Faz%3Dcollapse_topics%26forum%3D367&title=DU&extract=on&linkpatterntitle=view_all&descpattern=%2Fdiary%2FI then took that long RSS and burned it with Feedburner
http://feeds.feedburner.com/The new RSS feed is here:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/DuThe version which sits on my site which has a border, a custom graphic and a scrollbar, unfortunately cannot be published here as it will convert the image link to the image. It's

Hope it gets us more readers, I also have a Labor related DailyKOS RSS I generated the same way:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/balluche/eDyiOne for a fellow named Worker Freedom who posts at www.infoshop.org
http://feeds.feedburner.com/WorkerFreedomI also worked with Steve from
http://prometheuslabor.com/">Prometheus Labor Communications to get a special RSS feed working for
http://theunionedge.com/">The Union Edge show from PA, this feed has embedded podcasts of the show, burned it to Feedburner
http://feeds.feedburner.com/UnionEdgeOh yeah, I also completely redid the entire look of the site, adding "Digg", "Reddit" and "StumbleUpon" buttons onto the site. Moving the "donate", e-mail contact, subscribe buttons to the top, changing the colors, tightening up everything, creating new widgets, making stuff smaller and adding borders around the stories, I mean the 200+ Labor News links were taking over the entire right hand side. Changed all the colors and the fonts, you can see how the site looked in a

So if you want to help, start "Digging", "Stumbling" and "Redditing" the stories on the site, so we get more traffic, and tell the world that the working man/woman is important. You could also donate so I can expand (I would love to add a forum), so far I have gotten $10. Or if you want to be a contributor to Joe's, let me know, I can use the help of a few dedicated writers.
Anyways, let me know what you guys/gals think about the new widget, the RSS and the site
In solidarity,
Joe
