United Farm Workers Statement on Today's White House Meeting on Immigration Reform

No link. Got this in UFW news email.

The UFW issued the following statement after the White House meeting on immigration reform hosted by Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. Arturo S. Rodriguez, president of the United Farm Workers, was among those invited to discuss the issue.

"We are pleased with the leadership that Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano demonstrated today during the White House meeting on immigration reform. President Obama said today during the meeting that this nation is a nation of laws, but also a nation that treats immigrants fairly and equative. We have every reason to believe that legislation will be introduced to congress this year and that President Obama will sign a comprehensive immigration reform by early next year."
