Teamsters Local 436 sues Ohio Bulk Transfer Co. for sign telling union members to 'burn in hell'

Teamsters Union Local 436 has filed a lawsuit and National Labor Relations Board charges against a Newburgh Heights trucking firm, accusing the company and a manager of harassing workers.
Specifically, the local said, the general manager posted an insulting notice with violent overtones on July 8 in a locked, glass-fronted bulletin board at the drivers' room at its headquarters.
The hand-printed notice, reproduced in the Teamsters' Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court filing against Ohio Bulk Transfer Co., says, "Firm to Defend us in a case against Ohio Bulk that you opened. I hope your children and grandchildren Are Raped + Burn in Hell! Go Union!"
At the end of the note, the writer had scrawled, "Sincerely, Rizzo" and included Ohio Bulk Transfer's telephone number. The lawsuit alleges that Steven Rizzo, general manager at the trucking firm, wrote the notice. Rizzo did not return phone calls Tuesday, and no other company manager would discuss the matter...
