Economic Report:

The Federal Reserve admits that the economic recovery it says is underway isn't strong enough to gets American workers devastated by the recession back to work. According to the Fed, the economy is expected to expand through the end of this year and all of next - but workers won't see unemployment come down. The "quite restrained" growth, the Fed says, won't "appreciably lower" joblessness. It also says real economic recovery is uncertain, especially since the federal economic stimulus will begin wearing off in 2010.

2. Obama needs to get his ass in gear and figure out how to create JOBS IN AMERICA.
And QUICKLY. When the 2010 elections roll around in November, if unemployment is still high and no jobs are being created, and the stimulus has run its course, the Dems can expect a bloodbath at the polls. Obama is guaranteed to be a one term President, with much of the good he's done undone quickly by a Republican majority who WILL NOT CARE ABOUT working with the Democrats.

We know that to be a fact from the Bush years.

Moral to the story: Don't reach across the aisle, the GOP will not work with Democrats. Do not attempt bipartisanship, that's a two way street and the GOP is one way all the way.

Obama needs to get it together. Quickly. Enough wasting time trying to work with the GOP. Run over their sorry asses if they don't get out of the way!
