Strike at the British Library

Intending researchers will wish to be aware of Planned industrial action – Monday 8 & Tuesday 9 March

Members of the Public & Commercial Services Union (PCS) have voted to hold a two-day strike on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 March over changes to the Civil Service Compensation Scheme. Because of a slightly reduced service, we will only be able to facilitate a maximum of 5 requests per day and no transfers will be possible between Reading Rooms at St Pancras.

We urge all visitors to check any changes to the Library's opening hours and available services..
