AFL-CIO Welcomes NFL Players Association To State Feds And Central Labor Councils (It's about time!)

AFL-CIO President Rich Trumka happily announced Thursday that the National Football League Player Association has decided to affiliate with AFL-CIO State Federations and Central Labor Councils in NFL cities. The AFL-CIO says this act of solidarity by football players is the kind of action needed to confront the issues all working people face.

1. They better start respecting pickets. . .
. . .earlier last month Unite Here staged a walkout/picket the Chicago Hilton where the Bears stay the night before games and the players crossed the line.
