Some 33,000 striking members of the Machinists end a 69-day walkout at Boeing after winning pay and benefit increases and protections against subcontracting some of their work overseas - 1995


And this: December 14, 1995 - Members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers ended a 69-day strike at the Boeing Co. The 33,000 strikers gained increases in pay and health benefits and job protections against subcontracting. A key issue in the dispute was Boeing's increasing use of overseas companies to produce parts for its airplanes.
