marches and rallies in support of education funding and fair contracts on CA campuses today....

Faculty, staff, and students of CSU campuses are demonstrating today in support of fair contracts for organized bargaining units and no more cuts to higher ed funding for students. The rally on my campus was AWESOME-- in fact, although scheduled for noon to one o'clock, I can still hear the shouting and cheering through my classroom window half an hour later.

The rally here was a fantastic success (and we're one of the smaller campuses-- I imagine it was HUGE on some of the larger campuses). We're getting energized for our contract fight!
