The plot of a gangster flick being filmed in Goulburn has spilled into reality, with the film's producer threatening to rip out the eyes of a union official representing performers.
Brad Diebert, a fledgling producer, lost his cool yesterday after becoming aware that union official Simon Whipp had told his performers they were entitled to more money.
He left the following irate message on Mr Whipp's voicemail.
"How dare you say we have the money to pay actors more money, when we don't even have the f***ing raw budget yet mate," he said.
"We're still trying to get money off the investors so f*** you, spreading shit like that.
"You and me see each other in the street you better walk the other way
, 'cause I'm going to rip your f***ing eyes out."
