Mule ride into Grand Canyon

I'd like to take that trip in the near future but I understand
that there is a 200lb weight limit. 
How strict are they with that? I've heard that there is also a
ride outside the Park at Havasue Falls. Any info
on that would be helpful.

1. Havasupai Falls? You can ride a horse down (and up) but you

need to make reservations at the lodge or campground well in advance..and you don't want to go in the middle of summer (too hot)..check the web site for the Havsupai trip. I'd actually recommend walking down, and having the horse just take your backpack...if you're worried about hiking out (up) you can reserve a ride one way.
