We're going back to Paris in November, but new trip to Italy in April. Help, advice wanted!!

I hate that we have to wait for weeks and sometimes months to hear an answer from DU travelers, or just those who have experience with travel in these regions. Traveling to me is my passion and I love to get tips from anyone who has been there before. I have been to Paris, and we are all excited, but Italy is a totally new experience for me. We are going from Naples to Rome with the Amalfi Coast in between, and I would so love to hear some first hand advice!
