If you haven't seen this buy the DVD. It was only out briefly but exposes the lie that it was the lefty pacifists that "lost the Vietnam war". It was in fact, a military Resistance movement from within. The GIs refused to go out on patrol and get killed. The military brigs were full of dissenters and the anti-war movement was led by the vets. Now we are waiting for groups like Iraq Veterans Against the War to lead us against another illegal, unjustified occupation. Highly recommend this one; it's inspiring! http://www.sirnosir.com/home_filmtrailers.html

1. Actually--you can help the IVAW by
purchasing the dvd from Camp Democracy (where the profits are going to help IVAW right now.) (Limited time offer.)

http://www.campdemocracy.org/dvd

Or you can make a donation to camp democracy and they will forward the donation to IVAW.

2. Yes, that's where I bought my copy and...
I made a donation to IVAW itself and the young IVAW guys on the bus that are driving to Lt. Watada's trial: http://www.refusingtokill.net/Watada/WatadaHawai.htm in Washington. I believe if this war is going to end, it will be because the people who have the most to lose are speaking up. If anyone lives in the Seattle area please attend the trial for support. Several activists from here in San Diego are heading up there.

3. That's great! I agree...Vietnam ended when the soldiers serving
went AWOL (as well as other things.)

4. There are so many things...
that have been edited right out of that time period. I didn't realize the military brigs were bursting with dissenters. Basically the platoon commanders would order the GIs to go on patrol and they refused, which makes perfect since to me. They would fight a huge battle, losing large numbers of men, leave the area and within days it would be back in the hands of the Viet Cong. Sounds a little similar to today doesn't it?

5. Even at the start of the 'war' the media was saying how Saddaam
knew more about our history than we do. And it's proven true. And it's def. been proven true of Bushco too!
