1. i don't know why there aren't hundreds of thousands of angry Americans in the streets...
look what they've done to our country.
it's completely different from what it was eight years ago...

2. Indifferent, ignorant, and submssive to authority

It is my experience that people are in denial/indifferent, ignorant of the facts, or simple feel powerless against the state. They vaguely know we are in a war that isn't exactly justified, but they have been taught through the television (where most of them get their news) that supporting the war is patriotic and protesting the war is unpatriotic. Others are just plain unaware of the illegal nature of the war, unaware that the 3 justifications for war sold to them in 2003 have been proven untrue, and they are unaware that they should be angry. And, sadly, most have been taught to be submissive to authority and they feel powerless even if they do want to do something about the injustice.
