As usual, if you're prepared to write a "Hillary Hater" comment, don't. Watch this instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmM2j8P55SA&feature=user

Or this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=AffVsYrSKSs&feature=related

And keep in mind the links above apply to *before* Hillary's campaign tactics became so ugly and damaging. The storyline has changed now, and for good reason that has nothing to do with any kind of biased or irrational dislike of Hillary (of course some people have those things, but that's not what this is about here). Finally, here is a companion article for this clip: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cenk-uygur/is-hillary-positioning-fo_b_92904.html

PS---You can always watch TYT Live from 3-5 pm ET, with a Rolling Post Game 5-7 pm daily Monday-Friday at www.theyoungturks.com The RPG often contains political talk but also many non-political topics to lighten things up (and yes, that audio may not necessarily be work-safe).

Also, if you can't watch live, the 3-5pm portion of the show (politics) streams the rest of the day, all day right after the Post Game Show ends leading up to the initial show at 3pm.

1. A lot of her actions make sense when viewed through the 2012 lens
They certainly don't make sense as a strategy for 2008. Hillary is too smart a politician to not know the score at this point.

2. She has a strange way of winning our support
I suppose a person should never say "never", but I don't think I've ever seen a politician burn more bridges in a shorter period of time.

If she thinks she faces high negatives right now, just wait to see how things look if she succeeds in derailing our best chance to turn this country around since 1980.

5. She's won very little support during this whole election cycle
She started out with 40-point leads in most of these states. The best she's managed is to not lose so much support that she drops the state.

But there isn't a single state where her numbers have gone up since campaigning started.

10. They also make sense when viewed through an egocentric lens.
I honestly don't think she's looking that far ahead.

11. Or a DLC lens, or an entitlement lens.
I agree with you. This would be a hell of a bad strategy for running in 2012. Many of us were lukewarm about her coming into this campaign, and are now incensed. I know I won't be over that in 2011, just being honest.

Tweety spoke the plain truth last night. The unapologetic frankness was really staggering. People have been kissing Clinton ass for so long, it was a real shock to hear somebody get real about it. It is hubris. The same entitlement mentality that allowed Bill to screw the pooch with Monica and all their other troubles.

These people are decades out of touch.

12. Hillary may hope for 2012!
But, if she causes the party to lose in 2008, she's gonna be treated like radioactive waste from here on out!

3. If so, will she secretly support McCain for 2008?
Interesting strategy options for her...

6. No way. Absolutely not. Never.
There is nothing secret about her support for McCain.

4. So, if this is correct . . .
. . .which I truly hope it isn't, that means, for political purposes, Hillary is willing to have another couple thousand American soldiers sacrificed under a mccain hundred years in Iraq strategy so that she'll look like a better candidate for 2012. Damn.
