12. Shit-heel Rove
will only speak before sympathetic audiences. Whoever YAF is, I'm sure they're fond of Rove and proud of the mess he's made. Ergo the hostile response to the demonstration of some very brave, authentically patriotic young people.

47. rGBH Grows Strong Bodies (Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone)(C)
Yet the brain is sadly underdeveloped.

These Young Republicans are a sad example of many of our nonthinking youth's at "Higher Education", where they are taught that blind loyalty and connections mean more for their career than critical thinking and compassion for their fellow human beings.

The "Me" generation at its stinking peak.

Maybe a mandatatory two year tour in the Military would slap some sense into there lead lined braincase, where the terrifying exernalities of War that they refuse to think about come back to bite them in their ass. These non-thinking Brown-Shirts make me sick.

58. Regnery is also a propaganda hub/publishing house for all things BFEE, Neo-Con and Fascist.
They put out the "Politically Incorrect" series . . . which is nothing but a bunch of right-wing-doctored bullshit on pretty much everything fascist conservatives and corporate criminals fucked up throughout history (global warming, science, American History, The Constitution, Islam, English Literature, etc), revised to make the rich pink Christian patriarchy either heroic or victims to "them dirty savages" (i.e. poor folks, the salt, the have-nots, the untermensch).

One of their books is entitled The Politically Incorrect Guide to the South (and why It Will Rise Again). Another one is called Religion of Peace? Why Christianity Is and Islam Isn't. I wish I was fucking making this up.

You ask me, it's pretty much the closest thing to a National Alliance-esque hate-speech vanity press that you can get to without actually admitting you are.

I've seen Horowitz & Coulter speak at my schools, and I wish people would let them speak, then make statements at the end. For some reason, coulter had about 10x more people than Rove had in that speech. You'd assume Rove deserves a bigger audience than Coulter (who is truly out of it).

I do like this video though. That probably makes me a hypocrite though, but its still great to see so many educated people so outraged.

I wouldn't call you a hypocrite. It's a completely different situation. That commencement was for the graduates. The president of the university himself said, "This is the students' day." It's right there in the video. The students quite obviously didn't want what was being foisted upon them on their day. They can damn well boo if they want to.

the protesting group should have left some of their members out of the protest to remain for questions. That is of course if the questioners were not preselected from the group that hired the speaker.

It is a welcome sight, however, to see that there was some protest.

I don't understand why Rove would bother to speak at GW, since it tends to be more liberal. At least that was my experience when I was attending school there. When I went back to campus recently I heard a lot of the students complaining about the current adminstration. It seems like Rove would be heckled if he tried to BS with his "philosophy."
