23. that was good - and how many times has Joe talked about the Dem. base?
I have never known him to be reluctant to express his opinions about anything having to do with the Dem. party, so where does he get off disqualifying any Dem. guest from doing the same re: Republicans?

11. These guys are so rude, the guests should refuse to come on the show.
Matthews is just as bad. The guests hardly get a word in edgewise before it's time for them to go. I see that guests are beginning to fight back. Andrea Mitchell did to Matthews a week or so ago. He backed off, too.

...matthews closed the show with a shout out to a producer who just became a father.

I don't recall his exact wording but it was something like: so and so's wife just made him a father.

i mean, maybe i'm being too sensitive, but that just seems sexist as hell and objectifying, doesn't it? is that all she did--make him a father? or did she give birth, and they became parents -- both of them?

Brilliant, amazing lesbians. Sometimes I wind up being their friend and confidant. And for me, it's been bittersweet, but unforgettable.

My sweetheart left her girlfriend for me eleven years ago.
In short, falling deeply in love with someone because they amaze you, even if it doesn't seem like you and they are going to have sex may be an ok idea after all.

I wish I could sit in a coffee shop with Rachel Maddow and chat. Or just sit and stare moony eyed... So does my sweetheart.

THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID MADDOW MAKING A FOOL OF HIM IS TO INTERRUPT AND SPEAK SO LOUD THAT ITS HARD TO HEAR HER. ITS THE SAME TECHNIQUE BILL OREILLY USES. HE STILL COMES OFF LIKE AN OBNOXIUOS ASSHOLE. ...to vote against Bush's tax cuts for the rich, but not only does McCain now say he wants them made permanent, but he also lies about why he voted against them in the first place.

At the time, he said he was voting against them because they favored the rich.

Now he says he says it was the lack of accompanying spending cuts.
