And why am I wasting precious moments of my life watching this?

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I just recently became a member of DU specifically to express my frustration with this guy Logan's videos. This one I couldn't even finish watching. Perry: you seem like you might be an intelligent guy. See all those books behind you? They require their audiences to be able to calmly, rationally, consider issues using clear, cogent, linear narratives. Please pay your audience the same compliment.

The one or two points you make are often ORIGINAL and really interesting. Rather than repeating them ad nauseam (NAUSEAM) with obnoxious effects and grating repetition, just make more points, SOURCE them, and let us really get to know you instead of hiding behind this editing software you seem so infatuated with.

I promise I'll watch and listen. I want to like what you do. As it stands right now, you occasionally push this approach of yours so far, that I begin wondering if you're a republican caricaturing a liberal. You don't want that, do you?

But--since you joined specifically to complain about me--I should emphasize that neither I nor my videos have any special relationship with Democratic Underground. The people here are kind enough to let me put them up, and happiness is having a few more viewers...so I put them up.

I just wouldn't want you to be blaming DU for my videos. It's totally not their fault.

....and those who can't understand or even get a smidgen of your political points are just not tuned into the absurdity of right wing politics as it exists now. Please keep up your great work and many thanks.:toast: :kick:
