West Coast ports were SHUT DOWN on May Day.

"I personally believe they should bring back the draft. Because the minute they bring back the draft, it will end this war right there and then. Every college student in the nation would be out protesting. And every mother." -- Ernest Gaureau, Vietnam Veteran

Thank the ILWU for speaking for you http://www.ilwu.org

2. God bless you Hissyspit! And God bless the ILWU!!!!
That just made my day! Ernest is right, of course. This war is so criminal, in so many ways.

4. This should be a National General Strike!
ALL work, commerce, school, transportation, and non-essential workers should STRIKE!

The next General Strike is for September 11th - it should be sooner - but nevertheless - JOIN IN!!!

8. Make sure this news is blacked out in DC;
Otherwise Pelosi and Reed might get some mean and nasty thought on maybe ending this war via legislation; naw, that would be too easy.

9. Great to see folks actually taking action.
I'm with the Viet Vet (I'm one myself) - a draft would shut this down in a heartbeat! A REAL draft with deferrments ONLY for physical disabilities. Everyone else - LINE UP!
