1. Matthews: The fate of the Democratic Party lies in Indiana and North Carolina.
To Indianians and North Carolinians: DID YOU EVER THINK YOU'D SEE THE DAY???

For the first time in my life, my vote will have an impact! Wow!

2. Just what is with the "ghetto" comment? Do the blacks have to live in "the ghetto" still?
That seems a little racist to me, although I don't want to get into the "cliche" crap. I will say that I find it offensive to use such a comment or phrase, especially REPEATEDLY.

matthews is a worm, and he tries to stir up dirt and shit just to make him feel a bit of importance. He really is a worm, and if he can keep this question about Obama's reverend in the wind, then he has something to talk about.

It's been dead a long time. It never should have been an issue, but the right wing arm of Stalin keeps it in front of our faces, as though it really means something BIG. It's just sad how the media plays into their hands.

5. Matthews equates the white working class as "the regular people". His words
Edited on Mon May-05-08 11:21 AM by chill_wind
the other night. It's a meme he's tossed out more than once. Apparantly there is no black working class vote.
Blacks don't work or have to put gas in their cars, see.

MSNBC has been hyping the sacred "white working class vote" as the defining, winning issue for Dems, and if Barack can't get it, thanks to Wright, and all the nice "GQ clothes" (another grind of Matthews'-- apparantly he doesn't dress the proper stereotype) and the Arugula and all, his (so-called)failure to connect with the "regular people".. "ghettoizes him...puts him back in the 'hood".

Between him and Scarboro and Buchanan-- the masks at MSNBC corp quarters have come totally off.

What's under there is very, very ugly. And clearly very worried.

4. Out in very rural Oregon the voters are tired of the Rev. Wright issue
and say that is not an issue. They would like to see that off the news and want "real news" put back on the stations because most of them don't have internet access. They want to hear both candidates talk about the real issue's that affect them! This includes the price of food, gas and medical care including medications. Also they want our soldiers home and believe we are in Iraq for oil and that is not a good enough reason to have our american soldiers die over there! I canvassed for two whole days and this is what I heard from the people.

11. Matthews should follow Tucker
He has a big ego and is an insult to our intelligence. If enough of us complain to MSNBC, maybe he is taken off the air.
