Really--would any reporter ask, out of the blue, "I heard you gave up golf. Did that have anything to do with Iraq?"

I remember that Irish reporter he blackballed because she asked him real questions and followed up on his non-answers. One of the things she said was that they gave her questions to ask about somebody's clothing (Bertie Ahair) so that Bush could have an opening for one of his knee-slapping one-liners.

Sorry Keith, I love and agree with your moral outrage, but this war was not for "nothing." It was to insure the American lifestyle at all costs - the most important aim of American foreign policy.

It is what we have always done in the name of "national security." And until American citizens ( and the West in general)give up some of their comfortable lifestyle and share the world's riches - we will be an aggressive warlike nation. And we better learn to share soon - because China, India and even Russia are ready for their piece of the pie. We better start sharing now our we will be the victim of perceived threats to other's "national security."

But you can also read Greg Palast and others who will tell you that ONE of the goals here was to RAISE the price of oil. Hardly a way 'to insure the American lifestyle"

And I seriously doubt that it was to keep oil in the ground. That is way to smart a move for the neocon Bush/Cheney group. It worked out good for that but I think that they are pathological. They invaded because they could. They assume that whatever they do is right and will work. When it doesn't work, it's someone else's fault.

I was in France over the weekend, attending various fests, and anyone sitting next to me, including traveling Japanese, wanted to tell me what a disaster Bush was.

Even tho the Italians just re-elected Berlusconi.

anyway, if I have to come home, at least I got to watch Keith eviscerate (verbally of course!) this heinous misadministration. I had read the associated press article re Bush's "interview" earlier in the day, and I was just as outraged, as I ranted on to my Republican father. (whom I notice no longer defends the simeon, but just changed the subject now). When I turned on "Countdown" and heard that Keith was gonna address the same issue, I couldn't have been more pleased.

Bush is a total fucking sociopath, and a narcissist on top of it (the two usually go together) and he doesn't even try to hide it anymore. I think his handlers have given it up, Americans know the truth so why bother? He is the lamest of lame duck presidents, he's been the death knell of his own party, so at this point we're all just slouching our way to January 2009 when the long nightmare at last is over.

Those of us on US bases overseas are feeling the loss of funding on several levels....medical, educational, housing, workplace, gas pump, BX, Commissary food prices, you name it, the Chimp has fucked it up.

Glad you had a good trip!

We are truly blessed to have the truth coming back into the mainstream. A lot of the credit for that goes to this man.

I cried when I first saw the special commentary.

And I just cried again

This was such an obviously planted question, * must have really thought that giving up golf was a deeply admirable sacrifice for which he would be lauded. The single clearest indicator of true insanity we've seen yet.

My favorite was when KO delivered the final line - "shut the hell up." You could tell he exercised a herculean amount of restraint to not use the F word here, even though it would be the most appropriate use of the F word in his or anyone else's television career.

Of course, he wanted to say something other than hell.

I wish Bush and the two protohumans who donated DNA to create him would have to watch this every morning. It might get through to Poppy on some level. It would infuriate asshole and the harpy who gestated him.

I know you. I have seen you in the flesh. It is so easy for you to criticize. You can get attention that way. But when asked what you do like, you always refuse to answer. You are afraid to take a stand because then you might get criticized.

I have asked over and over those that criticize KO what specifically they don't like. I get generalities, like he is snarky. they mistake passion with snarky. I also ask who they like better, and never get an answer.


ps: I have accepted cheeses into my life.

I want just ONCE for someone is a professonal position to tell Bush that to his face now. In post presidency it will happen...it may not be publicised but it will happen.
