He's stood up to the Fed Gov re: Real ID -- told them to go to hell.

He's lived in the Middle East for several years - speaks the language and UNDERSTANDS the culture.

Works hand in hand with his State's (Montanta) Republican Attorney General to achieve what's best for their citizens (gotta be a pretty cool Atty Gen, too).

Here he's speaking at an American Prospect magazine and the AFL-CIO hosted a panel discussion in honor of David Sirota's new book, "Hostile Takeover" on Tuesday, May 9, 2006.

He covers much of what is important to us and our country.

5. Good call.

Seems to me that Webb and Schweitzer are "cut from the same cloth" so to speak though each brings a different set of professional qualifications and personal experiences. Obviously, Schweitzer has executive experience which would help while Webb has gold-star military credentials. Either of the two would be a terrific compliment to Barack.

7. And again, as much as I really really really like Webb,

IMO Schweitzer has a little more 'zip' when he speaks and may be more "likeable" to the voters, which we can't discount.
