1. Gee...why would anyone think Clintons would work AGAINST a Dem nominee for BushInc?
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 01:08 PM by blm
Just because a noted historian claimed so in April2004?

http://www.depauw.edu/news/index.asp?id=13354

Just because people heard Bill defend Bush for 3 solid weeks during his summer2004 booktour?
http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/06/19/clinton.iraq/

Just because Woodward witnessed Carville's sabotage of Ohio Dem voters on election night?
http://www.tpmcafe.com/blog/coffeehouse/2006/oct/07/did_carville_tip_bush_off_to_kerry_strategy_woodward

Just because Hillary always sided with Bush's smear against Kerry in 2006?

Come on....surely all these incidents are just tinfoil.

5. Interesting comment by Schieffer. The uncommitted delegates are wiaitng so they can be "the one
who gave the President his power".
I have been wondering what they are waiting for. that makes sense. slimey, but makes sense.

7. As DLC leadership, HRC is also working to move party to the RIGHT . . . so why not???
Evidently the Clintons have a lot in common with the Bush family ---
and seem very friendly if not cozy together --- !!!

2. Somehow, I appreciate BBC's coverage of US news better than the US networks.
It's as though the distance allows for a clearer perspective.

3. This is another problem I have with Hillary ..
if it is true, being that if she is trying to make him lose so she can run in 2012 then that proves to me that it is all about her and she really doesn't realize how critically bad it is in this country.

This is another reason she does not need to be on the ticket because there will probably be a lot of infighting, sabatoge and threats to get what she wants..

4. I think its starting to dawn on McSame that he is in way over his head.
He is starting to sound like Ross Perot, not in his choice of words but in his tone of voice.

6. hmmm..... "Sprinting to loss" and "limping to victory" ---
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 03:05 PM by defendandprotect
I don't agree with all of this* except that obviously HRC has hurt Obama ---
giving him a lagging victory ---

I'm more dead set against HRC than ever before --- and certainly don't want to see her/DLC on
Obama's ticket ---

I think this is the DLC and money interests pushing for the VP slot ---

PLUS, HRC has a high interest --- as Randi Rhodes was just pointing out --- "in paying herself back" . . . for what she's thrown into the campaign $$$$ ---

* I think it's nonsense that McCain has a viable opportunity -- most of the nation is against
the GOP and the war --- and it is only by high manipulation that we see reports that "voters
prefer McCain" in any way!!!

She should be a push-over for the Dems --- provided we keep the DLC OUT . . . and
populists IN . . .
