...this. He still seems to want to be an apologist for Bush's role in all that has happened. He suggests that Bush was different as governor of Texas, almost innocent and idealistic, wow. Then Bush comes to Washington DC and is transformed, says McClellan, corrupted by Washington politics, double wow!
I'm sorry, George W. Bush has always been a cretan, lazy, totally ineffective for any social cause other than cementing the place of the privileged and wealthy few. Scott McClellan embraced and probably worshiped these behaviors of the privileged class and even enabled the progression of absolute power by these people until he realized his own vulnerability and how expendable he was.
So now he has come forward and published a book, supposedly exposing these people. Yet, in his testimony before the committee so far he provides little substance and no first hand evidence. It is as though he is still in the role of Press secretary to the White House. If McClellan has real facts and hard evidence then let him lay that out before the American people so these bastards can be brought to justice. Stop taking the spotlights and generating publicity opportunities to sell his book.
