Does anyone remember the photo of a white man and woman lugging "supplies" out of a store to survive in NOLA? Then we see a black family doing the same thing but they were "looting." And let's also take into consideration the nature of the two storms. A hurricane hits pretty quick (and GWB knew it was coming and the perils that might ensue). This flood has been tracked going down the Mississippi for DAYS. These people know it's coming and can prepare. Big, big difference. And Cenk is right that when the people of NOLA tried to leave they were turned away by troops with guns. But then we hear about the National Guard (which I didn't even know was in the continental US anymore) helping out w/sandbags on cities and towns and farms along the Mississippi. The contrasts between Katrina and this storm are mind boggling. Then Rush comes on and tries to equate the two.

He needs to get back on his meds or something. Or just crawl back into the slimy hole he came out of.
