I'm sick of all the wingnuts, actually. I don't remember this as being a problem before the anti-Clinton hysteria. Is that when this awful right-wing machine started up? Is there any way to stop it?

11. Yes, I remember.

Those attacks didn't seem as personally venomous, mean-spirited, and widespread as today's (thanks to the media).

Maybe I'm wrong, but I sensed an increase in right-wing hate and bluster during the 90s, with conservatives seemingly becoming unhinged because of something about Bill Clinton that I have never been able to identify. They went nuts! And they're still crazy.
