10. It's true actually. Arianna Huffington is a good example and the Huffington Post is HUGE now
Edited on Wed Aug-06-08 12:57 PM by ihavenobias
That's great because more and more I see the MSM referencing HuffPo stories. As Cenk points out that's a fundamental shift because for years they went to the blatantly conservatively biased "Drudge Report" for much of their breaking news, etc.

It's obviously far from even, but hey, it's a step in the right direction.

12. Good point. I think once they realize they've been essentially duped
they have a no holds barred approach to telling it like it is?

5. So true...but we are "a nation of morons"....
They chortle about being at the bottom of their class. Look at the dip shit in the White House...he claims he hit the homerun while only being a "C student"....(and a coke addict, and an alcoholic, and a goof ball).

These cocky dumb asses are PROUD to be stupid. This country IS stupid. They don't want somebody smarter than them running things. They want somebody they "can have a beer with". We are a f*cking nation of morons, and so many are so proud of their ignorance.

We, as a nation, have our heads firmly up our asses, and you wonder WHY we are sinking to the bottom of the world????

God, am I proud to be an American???? Not for everything, believe me. Ashamed of many things...damned ashamed!!

To explain why Obama should be president...

And not McCain.

The BEST.

8. K&R I whole-heartedly agree. Where is the Democratic leadership on slamming
McCrazy dumbass for all his failures? They have a goldmine to work with. Why aren't they using it?

And, I do not agree that McCrazy is a war hero. He is a war veteran, end of story on that one for me.

13. This needs to be emphasized
Again and again. Like Cenk says, until the public is tired and says "all right, we get it, he was born on third base and thought he hit a triple, just like Dubya".

Stupid is as stupid does, and McCain is dumber than a sack of doorknobs. What makes him better than his buddy Dubya is that he is not an alcoholic dope addict as well. Since he doesn't have the alcohol and coke damaged neurons that keep George from being able to speak his own language, McCain can actually say all the words in a sentence correctly. The sentence may not make any sense, and he may trail off into an Alzheimer's addled blind end, but at least the Republicans picked a candidate that can deliver one.

24. I wrote a post about this exact topic last month! If Obama had said he
doesn't understand economics the McCain camp would have it in EVERY commercial. We could crush McCain with that quote! It would be over before it got started.

15. Well, I for one want a freakin genius to be my president!
I want a president with a head so big and swollen with gray matter that he needs to have his neck propped up like a tomato vine! I want a guy so smart he makes rocket scientists look like banana slugs! This is THE most important job in the whole wide world...why wouldn't we want the smartest man to fill it? Cenk is 100% right here...Dems should be shouting from the rooftops how unqualified McCain's brains are for this position...screw the fears of elitism! Man the torpedos and full speed ahead, I say!

16. It is time
To pick the best and the brightest, but the media isn't going to expose McCain like they didn't expose Bush. If Obama had made these stupid remarks that McCain did and offer his wife in a topless contest we would be hearing about it for weeks.

17. Ya' know?..this might be the time to mention..
That TV interview Chris Matthews did with with Gen. Clark, IIRC, where Clark said that getting his plane shot down didn't qualify McCain to be president, and Matthews said, with this absolutely incredulous tone, "Really?". (I saw this on YouTube. It's out there somewhere).

Remember the big flap about that??And no one...NO ONE..had the balls to state the obvious. That bailing out of a crippled plane has NOTHING to do with qualifications to be president.

Christ!! Why can't Democrats and Progressives give as good as they get? :banghead: :nuke:

19. I will never underestimate the power behind him
-his intelligence does not matter. His idiocy, like Raygun and W is a ruse, and meant to disarm the opponent into assuming weakness, then will come the slam out of nowhere. Look at the pattern of W. Don't listen to what he says, watch what he does. Watch the results. Sorry I must have tinfoil permanently embedded in my skull now, it is hopeless.
