"Drill Here, Drill Now" is a cute little slogan that the Oil Lobby has come up with and gotten our Republican politicians to parrot.

The problem is that the oil companies already have 40 million acres of oil drilling rights and they are just sitting on it counting their money. Why should we give them more land to hoard when we know damn well they don't want to flood the market and make oil cheaper.

1. Hand outTiny dental drill replicas, we might as well drill with these for as much as off shore drill
drilling will save us at the pump.

6. Thanks
Thanks for the compliments. I'm working to get it out there. Please pass it around if you think it is useful. This video was designed to appeal to Republicans/independents (using hunters instead of hikers to portray the use of protected areas for example) so send it their way too.

7. "drilling" is the new divisive shinny thing. To divert from th electric car tsunami

arising from abroad that is about to slam our shores the next few years.

And the genius auto executives and money-corrupted congress have no plan b for what is apparently happening now, the quick switch from oil wars to alternative energies. And are desperately trying to point out a scapegoat so that they are not charged with treason and murder themselves.

And the media is running hard with the theme too, because they are also complicit and part of the losing team.

US auto and oil companies conspired to prevent and delay the electric economy and cars, at the expense of our national security and now bankruptcy. They put most all their money into lawyers and lobbyists instead of doing the research and changes, and have a lot of catching up to do.
-------

AUSTRALIA will have its first plug-in electric car by the end of next year.

The baby Mitsubishi i MiEV has been confirmed for local sales, with a showroom target in the final months of 2009 and a starting price in the $30,000 range.

The company plans to skip the hybrid phase of future car development and go straight to a plug-in, with a claimed top speed of 180km/h and a range of 200km
