1. There's something weird about that video.
They seem like they rehearsed that. They stiffened up and seemed to be performing. I wonder if they were actually ever in Georgia. Someone should check their passports and/or ask for plane tickets.

6. It looks like they were expecting to be cut off
They were both obviously nervous, which could just be because they were on TV but I think also suggests they were not comfortable with their interviewers. They probably DID rehearse, because that's what I'd do if I wanted to be sure and plow through my statement before Fox & Fuckers cut my mike.

12. That was my thought too - when will the fabled Fox security team
coming rushing in to do their worst? I know I would be watching all directions, too, if I were to go on FAUX news and contradict the official fascist line. Duck and Cover.

That interviewer was nailed bigtime by a woman so nervous that she could barely talk, but so determined that she could not be kept still. These are immigrants who are afraid not only for who they left behind and the governments there but also for themselves and of the government here.

This whole thing was set up, perhaps by cheney but probably by mccain, but set up non-the less simply to have trouble started where mccain can look strong (like the bully he is) for the right wingers. My stomach does flip-flops whenever I have to see or hear that man, so I guess I am now a flip flopper. :grr:

Yes, they were there...I found other news, but the Faux interview is typical Faux.
Faux wants the world to blame Russia, so it appears that the interviewer was taken aback to hear their comments....
The family is aware of the propaganda, and is probably trying to get the truth out...
I got this video from another (longer version depicting what happened), which explains that during the break there was some havoc in the studio, and they didn't want them to go on. But that is only hearsay, so did not post it.

Obviously they were in Georgia and obviously they knew that the Faux audience did not want to hear the truth. They trumped the Faux host and got some truth out. Simple as that. This video made it to Vesti on the mainstream Russian news by the way. I have Russian friends who told me about it was hugely popular there.

5. I saw this 'live' and I thought that it was a bit odd at the time.
The young girl with darting eyes and lack of tears for Grandma. I did not pick up on the comments of the aunt until watching this video. My mom is visiting and is addicted to Fox so that is how it happened to be on in my kitchen. What a nightmare!

16. Something else bugged me about that interview/er.
He had such outrage a 12-year-old could be sitting in a cafe as bombing started. What about the 12-year-olds in Iraq who have been living under these conditions for the past 5 years? What about the kids growing up in the inner cities who never know when there will be gunfire outside their home?

I am sorry Amanda had to endure this experience. I wish no one had to.

18. That is the same thing I said when I saw this.
There are still children under twelve in Iraq afraid of the next bombs that will fall from the skies from American planes or those in cars or on people of the resistance. I hate war and I hate those that start them unnecessarily.
