3. Al Anon is, in my experience, not a cult. That is a pretty devastating label -

can you back it up?

A quick look at Random House and Webster's Dictionary definitions reveal that Al Anon is missing many aspects of "cult" - members do not live outside of conventional society, do not have a charismatic leader, do not live in a colony, is not a religion or sect. Members do not worship or venerate the same thing, person, or ideal. There is no system for treating human sickness by a person claiming to have sole insight into the nature of disease who employs methods regarded as unscientific or unorthodox.

In my experience, each individual is encouraged to do their own thinking and find their own path.

I remembered most of those. the last one was surely a hidden camera of a young Bush coming home late at night. Interestingly, they doctored the footage so it doesn't show him and poppy coming to fisticuffs.
