John Russell Democratic Candidate for U.S. Representative District 5 Florida vying to unseat incumbent Ginny Brown-Waite talks to the Veterans of Citrus County at the Hwy 44 American Legion Post near Crystal River. John informs the Veterans about his recent experiences at the James A. Haley Veterans Medical Center Emergency Department in Tampa and how his background provides him with a firm foundation for improving Veterans health care because he understands health care. John mentions as well the role of a Congressperson is to develop policy for this nation not to do favors for select people in return for their personal or financial support.

John gets it right when the people in the audience break into applause when John states his objective of securing mandatory funding for the Veterans Administration. John is about helping the middle class return to prominence in this country.

I'm canceling my subscription to the St. Pete Crimes again, because they ran another hit piece full of distortions, half-truths, and outright lies about him again. It's the same bullshit they did to him in 2006.

He's a good progressive, who is on the right side of all the issues, as has been proven time and time again.

I'm not in his district, but I know him well.
